Being Thankful

When our lives are in turmoil, we find it so easy to overlook all of the positive things in our lives.  We forget that God has blessed us with positive things like good health, a wonderful family or great friends.  Our goal going forward should be to remain aware and thankful for the good things that happen.  Life is going to hit us sideways from time to time; that’s just how life is. But when it does, we need to close our eyes, take a deep breath and count our blessings…over and over again.
