10 Simple Morning Routines to Jump Start Your Day

A good morning routine can create a foundation of stability in our lives. It allows us to start the day with purpose, intention and a clear mindset.

I personally love morning routines. They help me set the tone for my day and help me start my day on the right note.  Reading a passage from my daily scripture book with a cup of coffee on my front deck – doesn’t get much better than that for me.

Here are some morning ritual ideas for you to consider.  These are just some morning rituals that I enjoy.  What jumpstarts my day may be different from what gets your blood pumping in the morning.  Feel free to add or subtract anything that does not align with your life goals.

  1. Pray
  2. Read your bible or daily scripture
  3. Open your curtains and let the natural light in
  4. Go outside and take a deep breath
  5. Exercise – go to the gym, take a walk, run or do yoga
  6. Take your vitamins
  7. Eat breakfast
  8. Connect with friends via text, email or social media – just a quick hello
  9. Make your bed
  10. Create a short to-do list and do them
