Have you ever felt like you were waiting on something that seemed too good to be true? Maybe it was a job promotion, a new relationship, or something else entirely. We all want progress in our lives, but sometimes the wait is longer than we want it to be. What can we do when we’re in that period of waiting? One answer is to trust in God’s timing.
God’s timing is perfect and His timing is best for us. When He is silent and nothing seems to be happening, He may be working behind the scenes preparing something special for you. It is often during these times of waiting that our faith can grow stronger.
Remember that God has a plan for each of us and no matter what it looks like, He knows what He has in store for us better than we do. The Bible says in Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” So even if your plans don’t match up with what God has planned, trust Him—His plan will always prevail because ultimately He knows best.

We need to take comfort in knowing that every step of our journey matters and God will never leave us alone during moments of waiting or uncertainty. Isaiah 43:2 says “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Our Father always walks with us even if we feel like we are walking alone.

Waiting on something good can seem daunting at times but as Christian women we have hope that comes from above – our Father who loves us deeply and wants only the best for us. During those moments of waiting let’s remember to turn to Him so that His perfect timing can prevail in our lives!
