Irene Owens loves to write. Whether it’s an attention-grabbing article for your website or newsletter or an engaging blog post, Irene always finds just the right words to produce interesting, informative and relatable content. Irene was a contributing writer for The Female Hustlers, a women’s empowerment website that inspires, motivates and teaches women how to achieve their full potential in life and she has written for BizRocks, a digital marketing magazine for women entrepreneurs.
Irene is a strong supporter of women’s empowerment. Through her blog and social media accounts, she motivates and encourages women to live their best life at home and work.
Irene is a member of the leadership team as well as the social media manager for 100 Women Who Give a Hoot, based in the Raleigh-Durham area, which is comprised of 100+ women who believe that collective-giving can have a powerful impact on their community. She is Board Member and social media coordinator for Unexpected , an nonprofit in the Raleigh-Durham area, which provides support and guidance to young, first-time mothers in raising their child by overcoming financial hardship and providing a support system. She is also a volunteer for the Raleigh Dream Center, a non-profit in Raleigh, NC committed to sharing the Gospel through relationships & providing resources to communities.
A native of New England (Massachusetts and New Hampshire), Irene moved to Raleigh, NC in 2015 and was quickly joined by her two children and two grandchildren.
